This course provides an insight to the administration tasks involved in integrating Confluence and JIRA from a system administration context. Attendees can immediately apply the learnt skills back on the job in order to administer Confluence with JIRA in their organisation. The topics cover the activities that you will need in setting up a framework to manage Agile projects seamlessly across the two applications for better team visibility.

By the end of this course you will be able to:
  • Manage users and permissions in Confluence in order to get started.
  • Configure the Application link to connect JIRA and Confluence.
  • Add Confluence Application to JIRA user server so as to authenticate users and groups.
  • Configure User Directories (Configure JIRA Crowd in Confluence) for users & groups synchronisation.
  • Learn how to enable Remote API in Confluence in order to access Confluence remotely.
  • Getting the most out of Confluence Blueprints with JIRA/Confluence integration.
  • Develop the ability to set up a framework to manage Agile projects seamlessly across the two applications for better team visibility.

Course Pre-requisites

  • JIRA administration knowledge/ experience would be required prior to attending this course.
  • Attending the course How to Lead with JIRA Software prior to this course would be a plus point.
  • Basic knowledge of Windows interfaces will be an advantage
